Doctor Jane Peterson
Dr. Jane Peterson was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was first introduced to chiropractic after suffering from a low back injury while playing NCAA Division 1 volleyball in Mississippi. The team’s chiropractor was able to effectively treat Dr. Jane’s low back pain, allowing her to play pain free. This experience led to her interest in becoming a chiropractor with the goal of helping others. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, Dr. Jane continued her studies at Southern California University of Health Sciences where she attained her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree with honours. Dr. Jane is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in Webster Technique, a technique designed specifically for pregnant patients. She is also certified in Graston Technique®, an instrument assisted manual therapy technique to help treat scar tissue and muscle adhesions; and RockTape, a functional movement kinesio-taping certification that is beneficial for reducing pain and inflammation as well as aiding in posture correction. Dr. Jane is excited to return to Winnipeg and join Connect Chiropractic.
